When Mendel Grossman was sent to the Lodz Ghetto in Poland he managed to smuggle in a camera. He took many photos during his time in the ghetto and by hiding and giving the negatives to others some managed to survive the war. This is an interesting book showing what daily life was like inside the ghetto It also tells about what happened to Mendel Grossman while he was in the ghetto and afterward.
