Derek Fallon does not like to read and when his teacher, Ms. Williams gives him a summer assignment to read 3 books he is not happy. What is even worse, his parents are sending him to a Learning Camp. But the summer turns out to be pretty good. Derek discovers a family secret involving him as a baby and the death of a teenage girl. He also makes new friend and develops his talent as an artist. He finds that his life is really a book.
