Interrupting Chicken by David Ezra Stein This Caldecott Honor book is hilarious. Little Red Chicken wants his dad to read him a bedtime story and Papa agrees as long as Little Red doesn't interrupt. But Little Red can't resist and eventually Papa runs out of stories and it's Little Red's turn to tell a story. The illustrations are great and Little Red's interruption are very funny. This book is great for read-aloud.
