Amelia has just turned eleven and is dealing with all sorts of issues. She is still trying to come to terms with her parents divorce. Her aunt, Tanner, is living with them and is trying to find herself and is dating one of her teachers. Amelia has a crush on one boy and a complicated relationship with another. Through it all Amelia learns some true things from the adults in her life and some true things that all kids know.
