The fourth graders at Aesop Elementary are a tough bunch and no one wants to teach them. Fortunately, at the last moment, Mr. Jupiter is hired. What follows is a hilarious tale of the school year. From name calling to missing mittens and from the Dewey Decimal System to crochet the story is filled with goofs and blunders. Through it all, the children learn very important lessons or morals which are given at the end of each chapter. For those familiar with Aesops Fables and even Jon Sciezka's take on fables these chapters will be a treat as well.
What shocked me about this book is that it has never been taken out of the library!!! What a shame. I will be starting a "Give it a Chance" Challenge soon for just such books. Give this one a chance. It was really good.
