This one is another nominee for the Maine Student Book Award. In the story Chase goes searching for his first solo geocache and comes upon a mystery instead. He finds himself befriending two boys who are hungry and dirty and who, Chase later finds out, have been kidnapped by their father. As Chase tries to figure out what to do and how to help one of the boys who is sick he finds himself in a lot of danger. I thought this book was really good. I also liked how it introduced geocaching which is something I have been interested in but haven't tried yet. Check it out...
