Trash has been nominated for the Maine Student Book Award. We do not yet have the book but we have it on cd. I have been listening to it as I drive to and from work. Wow! There were times I didn't want to get out of my car. The book is about 3 boys who work in a dumpsite. They sift through the trash looking for things that can be resold. One day, Raphael finds a bag with money, a key, and a map. What follows is an adventure involving the police, corrupt politicians, dead bodies, a code, and seed money. It was a great book. The second picture is the one on the cover of our cd. I really like the first one though.

There is another cool cover of the book that I found from a site that said the book is going to be made into a movie. I would love to see it. Everytime I try to add the cover my website crashes :(
