Being a former resident of upstate New York and having visited Niagara Falls many times I was familiar with the name Annie Edson Taylor but did not know the back story about her amazing trip over the Falls. Chris Van Allsburg did an excellent job with this historical account and as usual his illustration are fabulous. The Buzz is that this may be considered for a Caldecott.
