Josh was having an ordinary, crazy morning when he discovered Gorfman. Gorfman was not your ordinary frog. Gorfman had 3 back legs. Josh is curious and embarks on a journey of research to find out why Gorfman has three legs. He tries to figure out if other tadpoles in the same water will end up like Gorfman. This book was an easy read but highlights an important scientific issue with frogs. Many frogs are developing with missing or extra parts and scientists are trying to figure out why. This book would be an excellent pairing with a non-fiction book about the subject.
