Troy Thompson's teacher has given his class an assignment to write poetry. In addition, they will be able to submit a poem at the end for a contest. Included in Troy's poetry book are ballads, sonnets, limericks, and more. Through the poems the reader gets a glimpse into Troy's life. While I didn't like all of the poems myself I felt that the book as a whole was entertaining and informative about the types of poems. The tribute to his teacher at the end was very nice.
